Professionally trained actor, Nicole Jorgensen can tailor her workshops to suit all ages and abilities. Acting Workshops are her speciality, however there is also a balloon sculpting workshop option too!
Workshops are suitable for Primary, Intermediate and Secondary Schools, Holiday Programmes or for anyone looking to learn or develop acting skills to enhance their imagination, creativity and confidence.
A little more about Nicole...
A trained professional actor, Nicole completed a Bachelor of Performing Arts at Unitec, majoring in Acting in 2007.
Nicole is a founding member of the Outfit Theatre Company and with the company she has performed in The K Road Show, Little White Men, Tone, The Suburban Murder, Boys Life and more. Nicole also has extensive experience acting, dancing and singing in children’s theatre shows and has tutored many after school Drama classes as well as teaching Speech and Drama classes in schools.
In 2009 Nicole was the Artist in Residence at Pakuranga College, under the Ministry of Education’s ‘Artist in Schools Programme’. She ran workshops based on acting techniques for over 300 students of Drama, Dance and English. Nicole has also run drama classes with special needs students at Pakuranga College devising plays with them and directing the students in an annual performance evening.
Nicole is passionate about working with young people and inspiring them to grow into their own and develop confidence through drama and the performing arts.
